It's time to do some blog hoppin'!
This week's question from Parajunkees' View for the Friday Follow:
Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
This is a bit tough for me! I have my Master's Degree in Women and Minority Literature. And the books that really influenced this area of study for me were Kate Chopin's The Awakening, Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon.and The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (Ok, I can't choose just one) but in all honesty, there are so many more! My blogging endeavors here however encompass many more genres and has become a way for me to step outside my reading comfort zone.
And from Crazy For Books:
“How many books are currently in your To-Be-Read (TBR) Pile?”
Oh my? My TBR pile toppled over long ago! I keep an ongoing of list of books I want to read and it's well into the hundreds! There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day, nor enough coffee!
Huge fan of Kate Chopin, especially her short stories - The Story of an Hour and Desiree's Baby.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogging.
Oh to have more hours in the day - solely for reading of course! How else are we supposed to get through our TBR piles?!!!
