Moving the Bookshelf

After a great deal of thought and consideration, I have decided to close The Cottage Bookshelf.  However, I'll still be posting book reviews on a much more selective basis that will appear on my personal blog, Teaberry Cottage. There I will also post family favorite recipes, my seasonal canning endeavors, as well as my many craft projects.  Why the change?  I started this book review blog as a hobby; a way to encourage myself to read more and share my passion for books with others.  This blog has taken on a life of its own and it has become more like work than a hobby...slowly removing all fun from the process.  Working with book promoters, filling in a calendar with tours. interviews, and guest posts, only to have authors change everything at the last minute, or worse yet, never even receiving the book to review and then being inundated with unhappy emails because a review is not posted (for some odd reason I just can't promote a book I haven't read)    I'll still be working with a couple of close and trustworthy publicity agents and will still offer giveaways...just on a smaller and more selective scale.  I hope you'll join me at the cottage, however, if my array of posts don't interest you, I understand and wish you all well.
